My Reactions of Picture Essays

Will-His picture essay has to do with a little girl that likes the color pink and has a lot of toys. I think its kind of a process of her life or rountine in a day because it starts in the morning and works its way through to bedtime. The picture essay was obvious at first but to think of it at another perspective, its nice to see it through what the person is actually seeing.

Sam-After looking at her pictures it looks like all the different places on campus at first but then I was confused when ter ewere a lot of pictures of bikes and coffee. I think the pictures represent her life at U of I and how school spirited she is and the people she has come across with during her time here.

Ryan-When I saw his pictures I thought to myself that he likes taking a lot of pictures of himself because every other picture was him alone. He also knows a lot of girls because there are also girls in almost every picture.

Roberto-I think his pictures were about a day of going to class and then going back to his place and going home to sleep.

Raul- With his pictures, he is documenting his friend's day and what he does through out that day.
Mark- His pictures look cold and remind me of that one poem I think its called footprints in the sand. But his pictures show his footprints in the snow. I think he is on a trip because there was a picture of a hotel that he took.

Octavio- He is capturing himself eating a lot of food while he is sitting at his computer.

Liz-Different parts of the body is what i gathered from her pictures because there are pictures of people's eyes, mouth, fingers and feet. Also different facial expressions or movements are captured.

Grace-Her pictures are of someone that is about to work out or is an athlete because there are weights and vitamins and water.

Erin-I think her pictures had to deal with things that can harm a person or how bad society is.

David- I didn't rally know what to think of his pictures..I feel that his pictures showed a sense of urgency or how fast paced our world is with the pictures of the road and traffic lights.

Bill-His pictures remind me of something enchanted especially when the girl is along side the brick wall or looking through the white pillar shaped towers. Even when she is walking through the rows of trees. It's like a journey of girl that is trying to find herself.

Dan k-It was very different to see pictures that were drawn, like a comic book.. I don't know what kind of story he was trying to tell but I feel like it had to do with how people react with the world and city because there were a bunch of overshots of the city.

Dan B- Its very dark but there are different angles that each picture is taken and i think he is taking pictures of musical instruments like a guitar. His story seems like a night or the process of what goes into a concert or practice.

Cynthia-Her pciture seem to resemble how she has grown up and what she sees in life. She has pictures of sunsets and trees but i don't know how that correlates...It could possibly show how the day goes vs her life.

Adam-He took pictures of a stuffed animal going through situations that people do in real life. it was very interesting to see how he put this animal in the picture.

Sean-I actually know a lot of people in those pictures but it shows him drinking all night and having fun with his friends.

Sara-She took a lot of pictures of famous people and what was cool about it was how she took pictures of magazine pictures. There were different magazines so she showed different advertisements and how each portrayed to that magazine.

Masha-Her pictures start off with taking a wide picture of the scenery and then slowly focusing in on one person. She continues to keep zooming in on this person.
